Monster Drawing Contest

EXTENDED DEADLINE!

Due to the large amounts of time that I was without email and the site was down, I am extending the deadline for the Monster Drawing Contest. Mail entries need to be postmarked no later than November 25. Email entries need to be received no later than November 30. So, you still have time,... send in those entries!

It is time for you all to put on your creative caps and think of a fun-loving monster! In the town of MUB (Monsters Under the Bed), many happy, nice, and silly monsters hang out, play games, and have a blast!

I have created several monsters for this town already, but would love to have some of the monsters come from YOU! Check out the contest details here. I can't wait to see your creations, and maybe you can see them come to life in my future games in the town of MUB!

OK,... the poll for the contest ideas is complete. Thank you all so much for your responses! While the winner was Website Backgrounds, it will take me a few weeks to get that set up. So, I believe we will start with creating a Fun-loving Monster for a new game. I will be working up the rules for the contest over the next week or so. But, in the mean time, start thinking and sketching out some cute, fun, NICE, monsters. Who knows, maybe your monster will be in my new game!

Also, I think I might design a Superhero math game for December. If you have any ideas for some fun, non-violent super heroes, shoot me an email through the Contact page. Be sure to put your name in, so if I use your idea, I can give you credit!

Check these kids out!...

Caitlin has asked that I add extra lives to the Gone Bananas, so now you have it! You will have 9 monkeys to try to complete all of the levels of the game! Thanks Caitlin!

I have received a few comments that the UP arrow does not seem to be working on some of the latest platform games. Well, to all of you having this issue, say a big thank you to Evan! This morning I was told that Evan was able to solve the problem by simply using the space bar, instead of the UP arrow. So,... Thanks Evan!

While there have been many additions to the site recently, I wanted to call your attention to a few.

A young friend of mine, Lauren, wrote in, requesting that Patty's Paints be put into the Just4Fun page so she could have fun painting. I thought that was a great idea, so you can now see Patty's Paints in the Just4Fun section. Have fun with the painting of the cars!

Also, a long time ago, I received an email from a boy who told me that he loved playing Gone Bananas, but he wasn't allowed to play it that often because it did not have any math with it. So, I have now added Gone Bananas to the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division pages. So, feel free to play Gone Bananas and enjoy the platform game after doing some math first! I am sorry I cannot find your email to thank you personally, but thank you so much for the suggestion!!

I wanted to send a special thank you out to some great game testers that I have been working with for years... my neices and nephews, Nicole, Ty, and Matt! You guys are the best! Thanks for all your help and ideas!

Help Needed...

I have had many requests to have my games translated into other languages. I am very eager to have this happen, but, I need your help. If you have certain languages in which you would like to see my games, please e-mail me. Also, if you have the time and ability to help me translate my games, I would love to hear from you as well. I am glad that so many students are having fun with my games and I cannot wait until students around the globe can understand them as well!

Bringing education and fun together

All games here were made by Exuberant Games. Each game goes through important information for a certain subject matter for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. The math games are great if you need to review your math facts for addition, subtraction , or division. Be sure to check out our new games for other subjects.

  • English games to review parts of speech
  • Reading games to help learn sight words
  • Science tutorials and games are coming soon!

Games do more than just make fun!

Exuberant Games was created based on a passion and belief that kids can most certainly learn while they play. Math facts have to be reviewed in order to be mastered, so why not master your facts with games.

Once the math games became fairly popular, I decided that additional games were needed for other subjects. This site will continue to grow with the different games, at least one a month!
